Shawn, Karla, daughter Nayeli, Pepe the Giant Schnauzer and Booboo the Sphynx cat, own Global Pet Foods Kanata & Hintonburg. Pepe was the inspiration behind it all. He is 7 years old and is the black furry pal that will more than likely meet you at the front of the store waiting for a scratch. But beware! He is known to be a leaner and a butt-scratching seeker. Booboo comfortably spends her days at home in her heated pad bed. Karla and Shawn are the luckiest people in the world as they have the best staff anyone could ask for!

Jennifer is Kanata's purchasing manager and one of the store's superstars. She is personable, quick and will go above and beyond to help customers and their pets. If a customer requires something special-ordered, she will find it and do her best to bring it in.
She is the proud owner of Alaskan Malamutes, Tally& Triton.

Casey is Kanata's staff manager. She has been with the company since before the Kanata store was open and is a vital part of the team. She is quick, friendly and very knowledgeable, both nutrition and businesswise. She comes from a family of breeders and dog lovers. She has two fur kids, Phoebe, a Brussels Grifon who regularly joins her at work, and Ares, a Doberman mix who LOVES to tumble with Pepe.

Liz works out of our Kanata location. She has worked in the pet industry for years and is going to school to become a Vet Technician. She is a gifted merchandiser and has a wide knowledge of canine, feline and small animal nutrition. She has two Corgis, Mylo & Hallee, a cat, Bella, 12 (yes, TWELVE) bunnies and a horse.

Adrienne is one of Kanata's secret weapons! She has an uncanny thirst for knowledge and will go above and beyond to help customers find what they need and educate them on the latest trends in pet nutrtion. She is mom of a many, many pets including Cairn Terrier/Westie mix, Janie; a multitude of stray cats she saves and rehomes, four potbelly pigs, Honey, Cuddles, Charles and Tobias; Rosie the donkey and Tequila the horse, two bearded dragons - Sharp Tooth and Thor; and Bonzai the bunny. |

Lynda is Kanata's newest team member. She is also a pet photographer and an avid dog agility master. She is the proud momma of two dogs: Cattle Dog, Bentley; Australian Sheppard, Oz; a horse and a white kitty, Kirby. You will see some of her pets at the store on a frequent basis. |

Natasha is at our Hintonburg location. She is the proud momma of two cats, two dogs and also foster mom of a lovely Pit bull. She is finishing her training to become a certified dog trainer and has a keen interest in pet nutrition. Her family breathes and lives the animal world - on her spare time, she helps her husband run a successful pet photography business. |

Allie is one of our Hintonburg staff. She plays an important role at making sure the right products are in stock at all time. She is the proud momma of eight pets: Finnegan, a Border Collie; June Bug the cat, ferrets Porom, Barret & Freya; crested gecko, Ysera; leopard gecko, Basol and Yuffie the chinchilla. When she's not at the store, she works on her successful pet portrait business and volunteers for animal rescue organizations.

Nic is the latest addition to our Hintonburg store. He has been working in the pet industry for the last six years and has aquired a particular passion for dog training. He has been a foster parent to many dogs, inlcuding his latest Pit Bull, Hank (photographed). He is quickly becoming a very important staff member. |

Lauren works at our Hintonburg store. She is an expert in helping transition sensitive pets from one food to another seamessly, as she has one of her own. From time to time you will see Cooper at the store, her super chill and friendly Saint Bernard/Newfie mix. She is also the porud mom of Charlie the bunny. |
